This stunning item features a solid piece of Albertan Ammolite. Ammolite is an opal-like organic gemstone found primarily in Alberta, Canada. It occurs when the shells of ammonites fossilize into a form of Aragonite while maintaining the microstructure of the original shell. Each piece of Albertan Ammolite has incredible natural shimmering, flashing colors of red, green, blue, orange, and more. This is an incredible, beautiful, natural fossil.
This Ammolite weighs approximately 332 grams and measures approximately 11cm long, 10cm wide, and 2cm tall. Each specimen is unique. Product may not be exactly as shown in photo; picture is a typical example.
